Depois de tanta nail art, resolvi da uma pausa e usar um esmalte que já estava na fila há algum tempo, o The Black Knight da Butter London.
Now, onto the polish! I decided to give all the nail art a break, and wear something that had been waiting quite a while to be worn, The Black Knight by Butter London.
A base do The Black Knight é preta e tem vários glitters coloridos, incluindo rosa e azul.
A primeira camada fica um pouco rala, o que me surpreendeu pois achei que ele ia ser bem denso.
Passei 2 camadas e passei top coat pra deixar lisinho.
I used 2 coats for this, plus top coat to make it smooth. I was surprised to see that this was pretty sheer on the first coat. I expected it to be very well pigmented and to maybe give better coverage on the first coat... I guess it's because it looks so dense in the bottle.
Esse é o único Butter London que eu tenho, apesar de namorar o Wallis e um da coleção nova, o Slapper.
Acho as opções de cores da marca bonitas, mas nada de muito diferentes. Cada Butter London custa US$14, o que acho caro para cores normais. O vidrinho retangular é muito charmoso e cheio de detalhes que fazem a gente querer comprar um. A mãozinha apontando para cima na tampa exterior e o passarinho na tampa de dentro são detalhes lindos.
This is the only Butter London in my stash. I often flirt with Wallis and the new Slapper, but I can never bring myself to pay $14 for each polish. I like Butter London's color options, but the ones I really love aren't that unique, so I simply can't justify paying $14. I'll confess that the gorgeous rectangular bottles are a great incentive to buying their polish, and the little details like the hand pointing up on the outside lid and the bird on the inside are beautiful.
Amo esmalte escuro, então gostei muito desse. Como agora está começando o verão aqui no hemisfério norte, estou usando cada vez menos cores escuras, mas vira e mexe dá vontade de usar um pretão.
I love dark polishes, so I really enjoyed this one. Since we're going into summer here on the northern hemisphere, I find myself wearing dark shades less and less.
