Um dos estilos de nail art que mais gosto é o splatter. Depois que acertei o tipo de canudo que funciona pra mim, fazer essas unhas se tornou muito fácil e rápido. Já tinha mencionado no facebook que queria tentar um splatter neon... pois bem, finalmente fiz, e aqui está o resultado!
One of the nail art styles that I like the most is the splatter technique. After I figured out what kind of straw worked best for me, doing this mani became very fast and easy, and every chance I get I rock splatter nails! I've been wanting to try a neon splatter... and here's what I did.
Para esse splatter (unhas respingadas), eu usei dois esmaltes da China Glaze de coleções passadas. O verde que usei para respingar é o In the Lime Light. O amarelo que usei como base é o Celtic Sun.
Como sempre gosto de usar preto nos meus respingados, o pretinho básico da Wet'n'wild não podia faltar.
For this look I used a couple polishes from China Glaze from previous collections. The green I used in the actual splatter is In the Lime Light, and the yellow I used as base color is Celtic Sun. I always like to use black on my splatters, and my favorite black creme is always the cheap Wet'n'wild one.
Esmaltes neon geralmente são bem ralos, o que dificultou na hora de fazer o splatter. Podem notar que os respingos verdes não ficaram bem definidos. Foi aí que entrou a importância do preto cremoso mais grosso, que ajudou a definir o visual.
Neon polishes are often very runny and transparent, and this made the splattering a little complicated. You can see that the green splatter shapes aren't really very defines. This is where the black came in. Using a thicker black creme helped the splatters become more defined and made the overall effect work better.
Não gosto de mostrar meus dedos nessa posição da foto acima por que fui "agraciada" com pele enrugada nas mãos... mas o canudo que eu uso é o do cotonete. Gosto assim bem fininho. Sempre forro onde estiver com papel vegetal e saio soprando. Não coloco nada ao redor dos dedos porque vou soprando e passando o palito para limpar, e qualquer meleca extra é só passar um cotonete embebido em remover.
I hate showing my hand in the position above because I was "graced" with wrinkled hands... but here's what I use for "straw". I use the stick part of a cotton swab, it's very thin and short and works perfect for me. I usually do the splatter and immediately clean up the excess with a orange stick, and any extra blobs I just wipe off with remover and a fresh cotton swab.
Pra terminar, tá aqui uma foto do Celtic Sun sozinho. Aqui eu usei 3 camadas do Celtic Sun em cima de um esmalte branco. Fiquei com aquele feeling de que tinha passado marcador de texto nas unhas! ahhaha
To finish, here's a picture of Celtic Sun on its own. I used 3 thin coats over a white polish. I kept feeling I had used a highlighter to paint my nails with! haha
