Quando entrei mesmo no mundo dos esmaltes, nunca pensei que iria me interessar por misturinhas. Pra ser sincera só fui tentar fazer uma misturinha no começo desse ano... e morrendo de medo de não dar certo. Depois de algumas tentativas, e resultados lindos, virei adepta! Mas não fico fazendo a hora toda não. Tenho que estar no "mood" e estar inspirada.
When I started really getting into nail polish, I never thought I'd be interested in franken polishes. To be honest, the first franken I attempted to make was in the beginning of this year, and I was super scared it wouldn't work out and I would waste polish.
Obviously I'm not the only one who dabbles in the world of frankening, we have many many talented nail polish lovers out there who are selling their creations like there is no tomorrow!
Today I'm going to show you a franken that was made in Brazil especially for me!
Hoje vou mostrar uma misturinha que não é minha. Quem fez essa belezura foi uma amiga, a Di, lá do Esmaltando na Laje. Ela fez especialmente pra mim e me mandou pelo correio junto com outros esmaltinhos lindos, resultado de um amigo secreto (dessa vez de carnaval) que participamos.
Today's polish was sent to me by a friend from Brazil as part of our gift exchanging for Carnaval.
Creio que a misturinha não tenha nome, mas ela caprichou MUITO na embalagem e até colocou um S (amei Di!).
Ela sabe que sou louca por esmaltes teal, e fez esse teal super vibrante pra mim. No vidrinho ele tem um shimmer bem de leve meio dourado, mas nas unhas não deu pra ver.
This polish doesn't have a name, but man did she go overboard in the bottle customization! This girl knew of my love for teal polishes and created this vibrant teal for me. In the bottle we can see a subtle gold shimmer, but it didn't translate onto the nails.
Passei 2 camadas mais uma do top coat da Essie.

I used 2 coats and one coat of Essie Good To Go. I love how this color matches the blog's background!
Para homenagear a criadora do esmalte, que é doente por um glitter, resolvi adicionar um bling bling na base das unhas com o Jewel Fx Gold, da Milani.
My friend who created this LOVES glitter, so I decided to up this mani and add some glitter at the base of my nails. I used Milani Jewel Fx Gold for this, and another coat of top coat.
