A nova coleção da O.P.I. em parceria com a cantora Nicki Minaj acabou de ser lançada, e já está nas lojas. A coleção consiste de seis cores, mas como comprei o mini set com quatro, não vou mostrar o Metallic 4 Life (pedaços de glitter grafite) nem o Super Bass Shatter (craquelado metálico roxo).
A coleção foi desenvolvida com a cantora, e baseada nos seu novo álbum Pink Friday. O estilo bem diferente da cantora também influenciou bastante essa coleção.

**The new collection by OPI in partnership with singer Nicki Minaj was just released, and can already be found in stores. The collection is made up of 6 colors, but I got the mini set, so I won't show Metallic 4 Life or Super Bass Shatter.
The singer had a hand in the development of the collection, which was based in her newest album called Pink Friday. Her "unique" dressing style also influenced the way the colors and finishes turned out.

Did It On 'Em é um verde com bem muito amarelo nele. Não chega a ser neon, mas é vibrante pra caramba.
Passei 3 camadas por conta do pincel pequeno dos mini vidrinhos, mas o brilho maravilhoso é do prórpio esmalte, pois não passei top coat. Não deu nenhuma bolinha! Viu que a fórmula dos esmaltes contribui para o aparecimento das bolinhas?
Did It On 'Em is a very yellowed green. It's not neon, mas it's super bright.
I used 3 coats because of the small brush in the mini bottles, no top coat. I loved how shiny it dried. I've been having a few problems with air bubbles with some Brazilian polishes lately, and most people were attributing this to warm weather, but I definitely think the formula is also a major issue as I had No air bubbles with these polishes.

Fly é um teal digno de ser chamado teal. Amei a cor (por ser uma das cores favoritas de esmalte pra mim!), e com certeza tenho algo parecido ou igual na minha coleção. Vou tirar um tempo para fazer comparações e faço um post separado.
Passei 3 camadas, de novo por conta do pincel. Não passei top coat.

**Fly is a true teal. I loved this polish, as teal is one of my favorite polish colors! I know I have similar polishes in my collection, and I plan on doing some comparisons, but I still loooove Fly.
I used 3 coats, again because of the brush, no top coat.

Pink Friday foi a decepção da coleção. No primeiro release que vazou da OPI, o rosa era holográfico, e todas aqui nos EUA estavam morrendo de antecipação. Aí sai o release oficial sem a holografia no rosa, e o esmalte virou um creme rosa claro. blé.
Passei 3 camadas, sem top coat. A cor é bonita, mas pra quem esperava rosa holográfico... babou O.P.I.!
**Pink Friday was a big deception for many of us polish lovers. I was dying for the holo pink we saw on the first images that came out from OPI. It's just a very light pink créme.
I used 3 coats, for the same reasons, no top coat. Can't get over the fact it's so plain.

Save Me salvou mesmo a mancada do rosa cuém cuém. Ele é um glitter holográfico bem fininho, e tem glitter em barra, também holográfico. A O.P.I. tirou a holografia do rosa, e colocou num vidrinho separado...
Bom, testei o Save Me em cima do Pink Friday pra dar uma vidinha a mais. Não usei ele sozinho por que meu vidrinho é mini, ou seja... tenho que economizar essa belezura!
Passei 2 camadas, e foi bem fácil aplicar. O glitter em barra cooperou bastante!
**Save Me saved the day for OPI. It filled the gap for the lack of a holo Pink friday, with the bonus of the holo bar glitter.
I used it over Pink Friday, and this was 2 coats. The very small brush on the mini bottles doesn't pick up as much polish as the pro-wide brush does, so you can get better coverage with the full size bottle.
Amo a qualidade dos esmaltes da O.P.I., mas sempre fico com pena de comprar aquele vidrão deles... se tiver os mini, prefiro eles por que na multidão de esmaltes que tenho, pelo menos não vai ficar um vidrão lá sendo usado raramente. A única coisa ruim é o pincel pequenininho que vem nos mini esmaltes. Mas as embalagens fazem valer a pena!
**I love the quality of OPI's formula, but I'm always skeptic about buying the full sized bottles because they're too big, and I already own too many polishes. If they give the option of the mini set, I just rather buy the set. The only downside is the tiny brush, but the great packaging is always a bonus.
